I took these pictures when I was in Montauk. I went horse back riding with my family friends. The picture on the bottom was taken at the ranch before we left to go riding. I love how the right top corner is overexposed. I think it adds a misty calming effect to the picture. I also like how the building frames the background but the background is foggy. I also like the effect the sun had on the shadows on the porch and the wood framing. The first picture I took durning the ride. Ive been riding awhile, unfortunately my family friends have not. therefore i was stuck on an easy trail. I did get some beautiful pictures though because of our rather slow pace. So even though the ride was boring I did get to concentrate on my surroundings. It was beautiful and Im glad I was able to capture it.

I took this picture one day when I was visiting my old neighborhood in Queens, NY. The photograph represents what the area has turned in to and what it is. I moved out to Plainview Long Island, where I noticed a major difference in the greenery. Long Island used to be marsh lands and fields, therefor the greenery and trees are not as big and developed. It is also not as lush and green in the spring and summer. Queens is older and certain areas still have old fashioned houses such as ranches. The area that I photographed is right around the corner from where I lived. Although it has a lot of beautiful trees all of the houses, or mansions are very new and fresh. I do not necessary believe that they fit i as well with the neighborhood. This house blends a little better and the color of the roof really stands out against the green trees and blue sky. I thought it looked beautiful. The tree at the top also frames the picture and the angle leads ones eyes to follow the house at the bottom. The trees in the right corner are lighter showing where the sun was coming from while the trees in the front are darker. I love little neck.
